Hellooo friends!
I am once again super happy to announce I've been nominated for another community blogging award. About two months ago, I was nominated by life of kimberly for The Real Neat Blog Award! I am truly feeling incredibly neat and her nomination came at a time where I wasn't feeling so neat (hence why this post has taken two months to reach your eyeballs). Thank you, Kimberly for your nomination - everyone go and check her out here for all things beauty and of course, her own Real Neat Blog Award nomination.
As with many of these neat lil’ things, the “rules” are as follows. Thank the blogger who nominated you (check!), answer their questions for you, nominate your own neat pals, and ask them your own neat questions. So, let's get started!
Kimberly's Questions
Who are your favorite YouTubers?
Philip Defranco, Shane Dawson, Keren & Khoa from KKandbabyJ, anything RoosterTeeth, Bon Appetit, Binging with Babish, and sooooo many more, but they are all definitely top of my watch-list at the moment.
If you could change your career to anything in the world, what would it be?
I'd actually want to pursue being a content creator in any and all senses of what that is. I'd like to finally get off my butt and pursue YouTube and even write a book one day. Now that this is out in the world, maybe that will be my 2019 resolution!
Where are your favorite places to shop online?
ASOS & Tobi.com for clothes, Amazon for random bits and pieces, and Society6 for awesome art bits and pieces designed by real life artists (full disclaimer: I am also a soc6 “artist”, but I haven't added anything new for a while")!
What advice would you give to a new blogger?
Decide whether this will be a hobby, a career, or a passion project turned full time job. If you're starting a blog as a hobby then you can go off and do what you want and write for the sake of writing. If you've decided this is going to be your career then take the steps to make sure you're working on your blog everyday like you would at a full time job as well as invest in the tools for you to run a profitable blog best, and if you're a bit on the fence, decide if investing in your new hobby will make you happy enough to spend real life money and then follow your instincts and get writing!
Who inspires you most in life?
As vain as it sounds, my biggest inspiration is me. Nobody has lived my life the way I have or experienced the world the way I have. I inspire me because I'm the only person who knows exactly how far I've come and exactly what kind of fire I have in my heart to make sure I can go even farther in the future. Being my own inspiration also means that even if no one else is cheering me on, I know that what I'm doing is at least good enough for the person creating it.
What are your go-to beauty/skincare products?
Water! And the Kylie Jenner Vixen Lip Kit, which was gifted to me by one of my best friends and I fell in love with it so much that I've reordered it twice (soon to be three times)!
Do you collect anything? If so, what?
Tickets! I've collected every single ticket to concerts, movies, trains, planes, and anything else where they could conceivably give you a ticket. At the moment, half of them live in a box in my childhood bedroom, and the other half of them are shoved in a ticket book I have dubbed my collector's book.
MY NOMINEES
Here are my neat nominees:
Chloe from Chloe Elizabeth
Anna from Stralthy
Soph from Soph Isobel
Lav from Lavrax London
Olly Smith from Olly Writes
My Questions
Do you believe in ghosts? Why or why not?
Tell me about your hometown.
Have you ever hated something and then changed your mind after trying it? What was it?
Favourite flower/plant?
What's something you've done that you're proud of but would sound like boasting if you brought it up without prompting?
What's a trivial hill you are willing to die on? (Ex: Wonder Woman belongs with Batman.)
What's a blog post you've written that didn't get the love you think it deserves?

Mid Autumn Festival approaches, and the time comes for me to shove an ungodly amount of mooncakes into my mouth. But, before we dive into the cosy autumn months, let's take a quick look at this past summer through the lens of food!
