Priests to Pilots | Soph.Curates

Describe yourself like an Instagram/Twitter bio:

Nick, 20 years old, part-time jiggermaster.

What do you do?

I’m stage centre/do-re-mi for Priests To Pilots, a London-based pop punk band.

How and why did you start?

I’ve always been into pop punk and playing music but never really had the chance to pursue those interests growing up; when I got to college I was fortunate enough to meet a bunch of like-minded people with similar visions, and the rest is history.

What are you currently working on/what should we be looking forward to?

We’re wrapping up the spring leg of our London circuit shows and have recently started writing for our next record.

What’s your advice for people who want to get started?

Don’t depend on spontaneous inspiration to get work done in the creative field. The arts require just as much practice and hard work as any other field.

Lastly, shamelessly plug yourself!

1.     Our debut EP ‘Remember Me, With Favour’ is out on all music platforms; Spotify, Apple Music, iTunes, Soundcloud, Myspace, Friendster…(maybe not the last two) give it a listen if you’re interested!

2.     Hit us up on facebook.com/Priests2Pilots where you can find links to all our other social media accounts

3.     If you’re in the London area we’re playing a few shows in June that you could check out, including a festival slot at Duplo Festival and an intimate gig at the St. Moritz club.
