Amidst the stress of exams, George and I explored Leamington’s newest little coffee shop - Procaffeinate. It’s shiny new shop front window looks like a ray of sunshine coming through the clouds and it’s interior makes you feel like you’re a character in a Hollywood romcom.
When you first get in there, your eye will probably gravitate to the giant (and delicious looking) cakes that they keep on the counter. I grabbed a maple pecan cake slice and it was awesome. To compliment their giant slices of cake, they do equally huge cups of coffee - but who’s complaining!
The overall ambience was very homey and they have some really cute finishing touches like a toaster for DIY toast for breakfast. They even have a little outside garden that I think we will venture into on my next trip up to Leam.
In terms of a perfect spot for a date, it definitely fits the bill. George and I sat on the bar looking out into the street and I’ll be damned if we didn’t look like we fell straight out of a cheesy love story. Again, I’m not one to complain about a little bit of cheese in a relationship, keeps the magic alive doesn’t it?
Until next time friends,
