Two weeks before my 19th birthday, I was lying in bed thinking about the prospects of turning 19 and how in my later teen years I wasn't as wild as I thought I would be. So I went into town and got this tattoo:
After that first tattoo, I was content for a couple of months, but I knew I wanted more in the back of my mind. It's true that tattoos are addictive! So I headed over to Pinterest and pinned for months and months and months. Until just over two weeks ago, when I decided to bite the bullet and go for tat-two!
It was definitely a spur of the moment thing. I walked into the parlour to ask about how much it might cost and to book an appointment but the artists there told me to just come back at 9:30pm so I did! After a short consultation discussing what I wanted and where I wanted it, my wonderful artist sketched out a design and I just knew that was it.
She stenciled it on and 15 minutes later, voila!

There isn't necessarily any meaning behind my lil' rose but I do love it. Maybe one day its super secret meaning might actually ring true but for now, it's just a cute little rose adorning my arm.
