What do you do?
I blog and take colourful photos.
How and why did you start?
I started in 2012 when I first immigrated to Vancouver and I was told that I dressed really differently from other high school students. Such as wearing Lita’s, galaxy print and studded sweaters to class. One day a friend told me to document my style through a blog and from there Ko-morebi was formed.

Photography wise it was always a hobby to take photos of my friends with a point and shoot, and as time went on my Grandma was kind enough to purchase one for me right before she passed away. I never used the camera till I moved to Vancouver, and synonymously with Ko-morebi I began learning about photography and it just took off.

What’s your advice for people who want to get started?
Just do it. Don’t worry about your equipment or what is the right way of going about it. As long as you’re enjoying yourself and the work you put out eventually success will follow through.
