Describe yourself like an Instagram/Twitter bio:
HIEE!! My name is Taylor, also known as TLP or ‘hot mess’. I am an aspiring makeup blogger, whose highlighter shines brighter than her future.
What do you do?
I do makeup blogging, currently in the process of moving onto Youtube so I can do tutorials to help others look FIERCE! And confident in themselves.
How and why did you start?
For years I have been complimented on my makeup and pushed to do tutorials and blogging online, Sophie here is one of the many who pushed me to do it! I mainly started because makeup to me is an art, and to spread that confidence and technique onto others would be amazing. Everyone should feel like they’re a king/queen with them fleeky eyebrows. Watching Ru Paul's Drag Race over the years also made me fall in love with their talent, they are all are so beautiful.
What are you currently working on/what should we be looking forward to?
I’m currently in the process of looking for a camera so I can start vlogging!!! I know, you will all be able to see my face and hear my irritating voice, exciting. I personally think being able to show people how I paint my face would be more beneficial. Compared to them looking on my Instagram, trying to work out how I do it. You should look forward to me trying to be funny as I sculpt my non-existent cheekbones.
What’s your advice for people who want to get started?
JUST DO YOU! Honestly, if you want to apply makeup with a condom? You do you. If you like looking scary, get into horror and effects! Cover yourself in blood, who cares!! People will judge you regardless so you may as well do what makes you happy. You will be surprised how many people out there that have similar interests to you. I have had no lessons on makeup, I am self-taught and look at bloggers to help me develop my talent. The only person that stands in your way is YOURSELF! If you want to be a blogger, do it.
