T24 Presents: The Cherry Orchard

Autumn 2016. Freespace.

In the Autumn of 2016, I was asked to be the Publicity Officer for Anton Chekhov's The Cherry Orchard. It is still one of my proudest moments at University to be able to say we sold out our two shows, to the point where we added a third (also sold out) show!

I worked incredibly closely with the cast and crew documenting the rehearsal process as well as creating the posters, flyers, and social media campaign. The Facebook event is still available to view rehearsal pictures. Still so endlessly proud of all the hard work that went into everything - it was an amazing show.

The poster! Fun fact: There are 345 cherry pips in this picture.

My favourite part of designing this particular campaign was playing around with the cover photos for Facebook. As each cast member got their own profile picture, their individual cover photo would have them removed as if their profile picture was a snapshot from the table. Tedious work, but it looked fantastic (if I do say so myself!).
