Every year since we've been in the UK, George and I have trekked to London for some Christmas cheer at Winter Wonderland. Since we live so close to the city, we decided to go to Winter Wonderland on a Tuesday afternoon, which worked wonderfully in our favour! Armed with my camera and a near empty Wonderland to explore, off we went to stuff our faces at the Bavarian Village, and try our luck at all of the carnival games. We even relived our first Winter Wonderland experience and went ice skating again - this time to as per George's suggestion!

This little photoset is also my first little exploration into “alternative” Lightroom editing in an attempt to make my photos look how I feel when I take them. I hope you like my first real attempt at making feelings into photos! The photos get darker as we went at around 3pm and the sun was starting to hide away. ANYWAY, Without further ado… welcome to my retro take on Winter Wonderland.
