Uganda Be Kidding Me...

Woah, woah, woah, did you hear? I'm going to Uganda in June of 2017! Honestly, I have never been so excited to undertake a volunteer project before, because not only do I get to travel to Uganda but I get to do something that I really believe in.

In short, East African Playgrounds is an organisation that builds playgrounds across East Africa. They help to enhance the lives of children by developing their learning opportunities and creativity through play! Within the communities EAP also run "play advocacy training"and provide high quality training and employment through their playground building workshops. If you wanna read more about what they do head over to their site here

I'm so excited to be a part of this because I agree that play is a great way for children to develop and truly express themselves. On top of that, I get to spend a week trekking to see the last remaining wild silverback gorillas. Part of my fundraising efforts will be going towards their conservation. I'll be keeping my blog posted with my fundraising efforts, so keep your eyes peeled!

For now, if you've been ever so inspired to support me and East African Playgrounds, click here to donate to my fundraising page. Thank you in advance for your support!
